Richard Tyler, a fearful boy who leans on statistics to avoid risk, is caught in a storm and takes refuge in a library. He ends up transported into a magical book world, where he must face challenges drawn from classic literature (Adventure, Fantasy, Horror) in order to find his way back. Along the way he learns courage and imagination.
